Assessment

After we confirm your insurance coverage for ABA, the BCBA will conduct a multi-step assessment process with you and your child. The process will include a parent interview to help shape the goals of therapy. The BCBA will ask you about your child’s developmental and health history. This may also include a structured, standardized assessment tool such as the Vineland. The BCBA will spend time observing and interacting with your child, following your child’s lead and using play to gather information.

Using the information you share and the assessment results, you and the BCBA will determine the areas that our services should focus on in the customized treatment plan.
