ABA Therapy Services

During 1:1 ABA sessions, we implement the individualized treatment plan we developed with you during the assessment process. Our team continuously collects, graphs, and analyzes data to monitor progress and ensure we’re using the most effective, evidence-based interventions. This ongoing progress monitoring allows us to reinforce successful strategies and make adjustments as needed, keeping therapy aligned with your child’s evolving needs. To an outside observer, our approach—rooted in Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Interventions (NDBI)—may look just like play. And that’s intentional! Our therapists create an engaging, child-led environment where learning happens naturally. They follow the child’s lead, share control of the session, and may imitate language, play, or movements to build connection and engagement. You’ll also see therapists modeling behaviors, using prompting and fading techniques, and embedding skill-building into everyday interactions. Reinforcement and motivation are central to NDBI. Therapists thoughtfully arrange the environment so that children are encouraged to interact with others to access preferred activities and items. We use what we call the “+1” or “Goldilocks” method—not too easy, not too hard, but just right! Skills are taught and modeled just slightly above your child’s current ability level to promote steady growth without overwhelming them. For example, if your child typically responds with one-word answers, we’ll model two-word responses. If they engage in one action with a toy, we’ll demonstrate two actions. This method ensures optimal learning opportunities while keeping sessions fun, engaging, and frustration-free. Our goal is simple: effective, efficient progress—helping your child build meaningful skills in the shortest amount of time!
